Bunč

The micro region Buchlov Terrain offers you a wide range of greenways for every category. The primary route is so-called "Velkomoravska poutni cesta" (The Grand Moravian Pilgrimage Way ), which runs through the foothills of Chřiby and connects majority of villages in the micro region. Below you will find the most interesting routes.

Description of particular routes:

Route 501 B: regional greenway runs from Modrá to Roštín. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Modrá > Velehrad > Salaš-horní > Zlacká studánka >Bunč. Length of the route: 13 (19) km.

Route 5019: regional greenway runs from Modrá to Chvalnovaj. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Modrá > Velehrad > Salaš-dolní > Vlčák. Length of the route: 15 (19) km.

Route 5050: regional greenway runs through the south-eastern parts of micro region. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Staré Město > Jalubí >Modrá > Velehrad > Chabaně > Břestek > Buchlovice > Smraďavka > Boršice > Nedakonice. Length of the route: 22 (26) km.

Route 5150 ("Great Moravian pilgrimage road"): central route of the micro region, which is suitable for all cyclists. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Staré Město > Modrá > Velehrad > Buchlovice, Holý Kopec > Stupava > castle Cimburk > Kozel > Klimentské ponds > Osvětimany. Length of the route: 33 km.

Route 5151 ("Great Moravian pilgrimage road"): central route of the micro region. This route connects almost every village in the micro region. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Osvětimany > Vlčák > Dlouhá řeka > Smraďavka > Buchlovice > Zlechov > Staré Město (Monument of Grand Moravia). Lenght of the route: 26 km.

Route 5158: this route runs on the edges of Chriby. Terrain here is unmettaled, therefore it is suitable more for mountain bikes. Targets on the route: Bunč > Brdo > Vlčák > motorist Samota. Lenght of the route: 10 km.

Route 5159: alternative route which runs from Buchlovice to castle Buchlov. The route goes through maintained forest pathways and roads of third category. Targets on the route: Buchlovice > Břestek > Břestecká skála > Buchlovský kámen > Zikmundov > hrad Buchlov. Lenght of the route: 13 km.
