Velehrad
Velehrad - Basilica of Assumption of Virgin Mary One of the most significant pilgrimage places in Moravia - and the third biggest building of its kind in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of the 13th century the first Cistercian monastery in Moravia was built here. Velehrad Monastery and Basilica got the present-day form at the turn of the 17th and the 18th centuries. There is a stone collection as a part of area. Velehrad is situated about 7 km northwest of Uherske Hradiste.
